Three 12-hour shifts per week
Guaranteed Hours:
36 hours per week Position Overview Registered Nurses (RNs) for a Medical/Surgical contract assignment on the night shift. The successful candidate will provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care to adult medical/surgical patients while collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. RN Responsibilities Provide safe, compassionate, and evidence-based nursing care to adult medical/surgical patients. Assess patients' physical and clinical conditions and promptly identify changes in health status. Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and hospital policies. Monitor vital signs, laboratory results, pain levels, and overall patient response to treatment. Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans. Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals. Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, medications, and outcomes in the CPSI/Evident EMR . Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, treatments, discharge instructions, and ongoing care.
MUST HAVE
Current and active California RN license Minimum 3 years of nursing experience Current BLS certification Current ACLS certification Demonstrated experience in adult Medical/Surgical nursing #HC1
