Category Nursing - RN - IR Job Type Travel Arvin, CA offers a vibrant setting nestled in California's heartland—an ideal travel assignment for experienced Interventional Radiology RNs seeking fresh career challenges and memorable off-duty adventures. This 13-week travel assignment enables nursing professionals to enjoy the region's scenic beauty, local culture, and proximity to larger urban hubs, while growing their expertise in a busy, technologically advanced environment. Working closely with a knowledgeable team at two sister facilities, you'll have the chance to collaborate with diverse clinical leadership and refine your skills in advanced interventional radiology procedures. Opportunities abound for professional growth, especially with exposure to a variety of unique cases and technologies (Radnet, Merge Unity, and Cerner). A comprehensive orientation led by an accomplished Lead RN ensures you'll be set up for success and supported throughout your assignment.
Schedule/Hours:
8-hour day shifts, Monday-Friday Weeknight and weekend call rotation (primary & secondary team) Holiday call: 1 major and 1 minor required Call response time: 30 minutesQualifications/Desired Experience:
Active California RN license, currentACLS & BLS
certifications Minimum two years' IR nursing experience essential Must pass Procedural Sedation competency and EKG exam Proficient with Radnet, Merge Unity, and Cerner Demonstrated ability to assist with PICC & midlines, and provide support for a wide range of interventional procedures Flexibility to float between campuses (within 6.5 miles)Responsibilities:
Assist Interventional Radiologists with minimally invasive procedures (biopsies, angiography, embolization, etc.) Ensure accurate patient positioning and equipment preparation Travel to CT, US, and other modalities to assist physicians Collaborate on patient care and procedural sedation managementBenefits and Travel Perks:
