Category Nursing - RN-Tele Job Type Contract A rewarding opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse specializing in Telemetry for a 13-week engagement. Schedule/Hours:

36 or 48 hours per week Day shifts

Qualifications:

Current and unrestricted California RN license Active Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications Proven experience operating Epic electronic health records Previous clinical experience in a telemetry or acute care setting Strong critical thinking and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver direct nursing care and continuous cardiac monitoring to patients in the Telemetry unit Accurately interpret telemetry/EKG data, escalating abnormal findings to providers Collaborate with physicians, patient care staff, and ancillary services to achieve optimal outcomes Administer medications and interventions in accordance with hospital policies Document assessments, care plans, and patient progress thoroughly using Epic Educate patients and their families regarding treatment, recovery, and post-discharge care
