Category Therapy - Skilled - SLP Job Type Contract Step into an exciting opportunity to make a lasting difference supporting students as a Speech Language Pathologist in a dynamic educational setting near Ceres, CA. Qualifications and Experience:
Active California Speech-Language Pathologist license required ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) accepted Experience or strong interest in pediatric, school-based settings Comfort with diverse caseloads, including students with a variety of communication needs Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary school teams and families
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech-language therapy to students according to IEP requirements Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication disorders Track student progress, maintain detailed documentation, and participate in eligibility and IEP meetings Offer guidance and strategies to teachers and caregivers to support generalization of skills Remain aligned with evidence-based practices and district/state guidelines for school-based SLP services Participate in ongoing staff development and support efforts to promote students' success Enjoy the unique rewards of working with students and helping them reach their goals, while building meaningful professional relationships.
