Job Summary:

The Intensive Care / Coronary Nurse (RN ICU) provides high-quality care to critically ill patients in the intensive care unit. They monitor patient conditions, administer medications, perform treatments, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.

Responsibilities and Duties:

1. Monitor and assess patient conditions in the ICU 2. Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians 3. Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals 4. Respond to emergencies and provide critical care interventions 5. Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and post-discharge care 6. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation 7. Adhere to hospital policies and procedures for patient care

Qualifications and Skills:

1. Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice 2. Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred 3. Certification in Critical Care Nursing (CCRN) preferred 4.
