This contract opportunity seeks a compassionate, motivated Registered Nurse or a nursing professional currently enrolled in a school nursing program with their audiometry course completed. Essential Qualifications:

Valid RN license or active enrollment in a school nursing program (completion of audiometry course required) Previous experience as a school nurse, RN in a school setting, or Certified School Nurse (CSN) preferred Ability to perform and document hearing screenings effectively Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle a mobile work environment Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to multiple locations, covering up to 14 counties A commitment to student health, safety, and well-being

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct hearing screenings at partner schools as required by state and district guidelines Serve as a health resource and advocate for students, collaborating with school staff and parents Maintain clear, confidential records and ensure compliance with all nursing protocols Provide basic nursing care, assess medical needs, and manage healthcare plans for students as needed Travel extensively within areas such as Rocklin, Roseville, Sacramento, Chico, Mendocino, Ukiah, and South Lake Tahoe Flexibly manage your schedule to meet the needs of multiple locations This dynamic role offers the chance to support diverse communities, utilize your nursing expertise, and enjoy varied, meaningful workdays.
