Qualifications & Experience:

Current, unrestricted RN license Minimum of 1 year experience in a pediatric setting (hospital or clinic) Strong knowledge of pediatric assessment, care protocols, and medication administration BLS certification required; PALS certification highly preferred Excellent communication skills with a compassionate approach to pediatric and family-centered care Familiarity with electronic medical records and accurate documentation practices

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver comprehensive nursing care to pediatric patients, supporting their medical and emotional needs throughout assessment, treatment, and recovery Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by healthcare providers Monitor patient status, recognize changes in condition, and respond promptly with appropriate interventions Educate patients and families on care plans, treatments, and aftercare requirements with clarity and empathy Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans Maintain an accurate medical record of patient progress and interventions Foster a safe, child-friendly environment adhering to infection control, safety, and privacy protocols
