Job Description

Category Nursing - RN-Operating Room Job Type Contract Bring your specialized skills to a dynamic surgical environment where your expertise truly makes a difference. We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with experience in the Operating Room to support surgical teams and provide top-notch care to patients throughout their surgical journey.
Qualifications and Experience:
Active RN license with good standing Minimum of 1 year of recent experience as an RN in the Operating Room Proficiency in circulating and/or scrubbing for a variety of surgical procedures Current BLS certification (additional certifications such as ACLS preferred) Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with surgical teams, anesthesia providers, and support staff Strong critical thinking, communication, and assessment skills
Key Responsibilities:
Provide safe, effective nursing care to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures Prepare operating rooms, ensuring equipment and supplies are sterile and ready Monitor patients during surgery, anticipating needs of the surgical team Document nursing care and surgical interventions accurately Serve as an advocate for patient safety and comfort at all times Adhere strictly to infection control protocols and facility standards Provide education and reassurance to patients and their families as needed
