Job Description

Category Nursing - RN-Operating Room Job Type Contract Deliver high-quality patient care as a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room, supporting surgical teams through all phases of perioperative nursing. This position offers the chance to work in a collaborative environment with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals for an established period.
Key Qualifications:
Current and valid RN license Minimum of 1 year recent experience in an Operating Room setting BLS and ACLS certification required Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills Solid understanding of aseptic and sterile techniques Excellent organizational, time management, and communication abilities
Responsibilities:
Prepare the operating room for surgical procedures and ensure necessary supplies and equipment are available Circulate and/or scrub during surgical cases, assisting surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists Monitor patient status and support surgical safety protocols before, during, and after surgery Maintain accurate patient and surgical records in accordance with hospital policies Provide compassionate care by addressing the physical and emotional needs of patients and their families Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver the highest standard of care and assist with room turnover between procedures
