Registered Nurses - Pre-Op, PACU & Circulating North Bay Ambulatory Surgery Center Daly City, CA Job Details Per diem $75 - $90 an hour 12 hours ago Qualifications Teamwork RN License BLS Certification OR experience ACLS Certification Perioperative care Full Job Description Job Overview We are a growing multispecialty Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) in Daly City seeking experienced and motivated Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our team in Pre-Op, PACU, and Operating Room Circulating roles. Our center's primary specialties include Ophthalmology, Pain Management, Orthopedics, and Spine , with additional specialties and services continuing to expand. We are looking for nurses who enjoy working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and who are committed to providing safe, compassionate, and high-quality patient care. Positions Available Pre-Operative RN PACU/Recovery RN OR Circulating RN Responsibilities Pre-Op RN Perform comprehensive pre-operative nursing assessments. Review medical history, medications, allergies, and surgical readiness. Prepare patients for surgical procedures and anesthesia. Initiate IVs and administer medications as ordered. Verify consents, orders, and required documentation. Provide patient and family education. Communicate effectively with physicians, anesthesia providers, and the surgical team. PACU/Recovery RN Provide post-anesthesia care and continuous patient monitoring. Assess airway, respiratory status, cardiovascular status, pain, nausea, and surgical sites. Recognize and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition. Administer medications and treatments as ordered. Provide discharge education and ensure patients meet established discharge criteria. Communicate with anesthesia providers and surgeons regarding patient status. OR Circulating RN Serve as the RN circulator during surgical procedures. Coordinate and maintain a safe, efficient operating room environment. Perform patient identification, positioning, surgical site verification, and safety checks. Assist with room setup and ensure appropriate equipment and supplies are available. Maintain accurate intraoperative documentation. Participate in surgical counts and infection prevention practices. Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, surgical technologists, and other members of the surgical team. Qualifications Current California RN license . Current BLS certification required. ACLS certification required for applicable positions. Previous ASC, hospital, perioperative, PACU, Pre-Op, or OR experience preferred . Strong assessment, critical-thinking, and communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Commitment to patient safety, quality care, and regulatory compliance. Ability to adapt to a growing and changing multispecialty surgical environment. A minimum of two years of experience required.
