This position offers a meaningful way to make a difference by supporting student health in a variety of educational settings. The ideal candidate is either a licensed RN with experience in schools, or is currently enrolled in a school nursing program and has completed their audiometry courseenabling them to conduct essential hearing screenings. The position involves significant regional travel, as youll provide services throughout 14 counties. Most assignments take place in the Rocklin, Roseville, and greater Sacramento areas, with occasional travel to Chico, Mendocino, Ukiah, and South Lake Tahoe.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Active RN license or currently enrolled in a school nursing program Completion of audiometry course to conduct student hearing screenings Experience working with school-aged children preferred CSN certification highly desirable, if applicable Strong communication, organizational skills, and adaptability Ability and willingness to travel regularly across multiple counties within

Conduct state-mandated hearing screenings for students across various school sites Accurately document screening results and ensure timely reporting as required Provide basic health care, triage, and health education to students and staff Collaborate with school administrators, educators, and families Maintain confidentiality and comply with all nursing and student privacy standards Adapt to changing locations and environments each week based on screening schedules This role offers a dynamic and supportive work environment, variety in your daily responsibilities, and the chance to travel throughout scenic and diverse regions.
