1 Description American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring OR circulator experience for c-sections and Fetal Monitoring/AWHONN Advanced certification. Details Labor and Delivery unit in a hospital setting Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM 13-week assignment length No call requirements OR circulator experience for c-sections required Floating requirements may apply depending on unit needs, to be discussed during interview Requirements Active CA RN license in hand at time of consideration (Temp or Perm, no EMSA) Current BLS, NRP, and Fetal Monitoring/AWHONN Advanced certifications (issued within 2 years, AHA for BLS) Minimum 2 years of concurrent experience in Labor and Delivery specialty 1.5 years of continuous experience in specialty with no breaks (unless floating or demonstrating equivalent experience with same ratios) Travel experience required, with 1 year total travel experience and 6+ months of continuous travel experience leading up to consideration EPIC or combined EPIC/Cerner experience required within the last 6 months 1 supervisory-level professional reference required Interview availability required, including 3 specific days and times with time zone Additional Information Provide direct patient care in the Labor and Delivery unit, including OR circulating duties for cesarean sections No first-time travelers will be considered for this position Previous permanent staff may return after 1 year; returning travelers may return after 1 year Maximum 7 days RTO permitted, with no additional RTO requests after consideration Local candidates within a 100-mile radius are not eligible, except for LVNs/MAs Candidates on assignment in San Diego for 9+ months or more are considered local and are not eligible
