1 Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position requiring an active CA RN license and EPIC experience. Details Med/Surg Acute unit within a 25-bed critical access hospital Day shift, 0700-1930, 36 hours per week 13-week contract
EPIC EMR
experience required Requirements Active CA RN license required BLS and ACLS certifications required Minimum 2 years of recent experience in the specialty required BSN preferred Acute care facility experience preferred No prior disciplinary action on license permitted Additional Information Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned patient group per established standards and the nursing process Supervise and direct various levels of nursing staff and coordinate care across disciplines Collect and analyze patient data to determine diagnoses and care plans Implement care plans, coordinate delivery, and evaluate patient outcomes Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure safe, humane care Provide patient and family education and participate in discharge planning Delegate tasks appropriately among healthcare team members All required vaccinations must be up to date as a condition of employment, with medical or religious exemptions considered Candidates with more than 5 days of requested time off will not be considered No radius restriction applies; local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers Travelers may only be submitted to one hospital within the health system at a time
