Job Description

Category Nursing - RN-Operating Room Job Type Contract Bring your expertise in perioperative nursing to a dynamic Operating Room environment supporting surgical teams and patient care excellence. This contract opportunity offers stability with a guaranteed 40-hour workweek—except for specified holiday weeks—and the potential to serve a diverse patient population in a well-respected healthcare setting.
Schedule:
40 hours per week guaranteed, except for Independence Day and Labor Day weeks (32 hours).
Required Qualifications:
Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license in California Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Recent TB clearance (within the last 12 months) Proficiency in perioperative procedures, ensuring safety and comfort for surgical patients Prior experience as an OR Circulator strongly preferred
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive pre-, intra-, and post-operative nursing care Circulate within the operating room, anticipating surgeons' and procedural team needs Maintain strict adherence to aseptic technique and infection control protocols Demonstrate critical thinking and rapid assessment in urgent situations Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other health professionals to ensure optimal outcomes Complete accurate and timely documentation per hospital policy
