Responsibilities The Surgical and Procedural (S&P) Services - Clinical Nurse (CN) delivers patient care within the surgical and procedural areas through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient needs with the highest professional standard while promoting nursing excellence through continued education and research, based on the Title 22 and Title 16, the ANA Scope & Standards of Practice, the Code of Ethics. Qualifications Education & Experience High School Diploma, High School Equivalency (HSE) or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate required Consistent demonstration of competent clinical nursing practice proficiency required 2 years of RN experience on a Med Surg, Tele, Procedural or Critical Care unit highly preferred Licenses and Certifications RN - Current and valid Registered Nurse license to work within the state of California required BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required
