1 Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced PACU RN with an active CA RN license for a Phase I/II recovery unit requiring at least 2 years of PACU experience. Details Acute care hospital PACU unit covering Phase I and Phase II recovery Day shift schedule, 4x10 hours (9:00 AM-7:30 PM), Monday through Friday No weekend requirement No on-call requirement for the 4x10 schedule Uses Epic EMR Patient ratio of 1:2 May be required to float between sister facilities Requirements Active CA RN license required Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS Minimum of 2 years PACU experience required First-time travelers must have 3+ years of PACU experience Epic EMR experience required Experience caring for a wide range of surgical patient populations including cardiovascular, neuro, ortho, GI, GYN, urology, and plastics cases Additional Information Provide pre- and post-operative recovery care for patients across a broad range of surgical specialties Perform patient assessments, medication administration, and monitoring for post-anesthesia recovery Support float coverage between nearby sister facilities when needed Local candidates within a 50-mile radius accepted at a lower rate Former employees of the health system must wait at least 3 months and reside outside a 50-mile radius to return as a traveler RTO requests must be submitted at time of application Royal blue scrubs required for RNs Free parking provided on-site
