Qualifications and Experience:

Active RN license or Certified School Nurse (CSN) credential, with current standing in California Previous experience supporting children or adolescents in educational or clinical settings Familiarity with managing chronic health conditions, first aid, and emergency response protocols Strong communication skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and building rapport with students and families Ability to adapt and remain calm in a fast-paced K-12 environment

Responsibilities:

Provide nursing care, administer medications, and manage health plans for students with medical needs Conduct health screenings and assessments, documenting findings as required Offer first aid and emergency support, maintaining accurate records and following protocols Educate students, families, and staff on health and wellness topics Liaise with teachers, counselors, and parents to ensure comprehensive care and wellness plans This position provides a competitive hourly rate starting at $50, recognizing your value and commitment to school healthcare.
