Qualifications & Experience:

Current RN license in California or active Certified School Nurse (CSN) credential Valid Audiometry Certificate required Experience working with children and adolescents preferred Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills Ability to respond swiftly and compassionately in emergency situations Strong documentation and organizational abilities

Key Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive health services and emergency care to K-12 students Perform health screenings, including mandated audiometric testing Develop individualized care plans for students with specific health needs Serve as a resource for students, staff, and families regarding health and wellness Monitor immunization compliance and manage health records Support the implementation of school-wide health initiatives and safety protocols Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote a healthy school environment
