Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and detailed health histories. Administer medications, injections, IV infusions, and perform wound suturing with precision and aseptic technique. Manage complex care procedures such as ventilator support, dialysis, catheterization, tube feeding, and ostomy care. Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems like Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth, or eClinicalWorks to document medical records accurately and efficiently. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in acute care units such as ICU, PICU, trauma centers, or emergency rooms to deliver coordinated patient care. Provide specialized nursing services including pain management, infectious disease care, hospice & palliative medicine, and behavioral health support. Lead patient education efforts on health coaching, discharge planning, medication administration, and post-acute care strategies. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and infection control protocols while maintaining high standards of medical documentation and ICD coding accuracy. Qualifications Valid RN license with current registration in the relevant state or country. Proven experience in various clinical settings such as hospital medicine, ICU, emergency medicine, long-term care facilities, assisted living or home care environments. Demonstrated proficiency with EMR/EHR systems including Epic or Cerner; familiarity with

ICD-10/ICD-9

coding is preferred. Critical care experience in Level I or Level II trauma centers or specialized units like PICU or neonatal ventilator management is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, pharmacology, and diagnostic evaluation techniques. Ability to perform complex procedures such as phlebotomy, venipuncture, sterile processing, laboratory specimen collection/processing and aseptic technique. Excellent communication skills for triage assessments, patient education, case management and working with individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges. Certifications such as Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) are required; additional certifications in wound care or occupational health are a plus.
