$133,000 annually Join Our Compassionate Care Team St. Francis Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and experienced Treatment Nurse (RN) to join our team full-time. In this vital role, you will provide specialized wound care and treatment services while working collaboratively with physicians, nursing staff, and the interdisciplinary team to promote healing, prevent complications, and enhance the quality of life for our residents. Key Responsibilities Assess, treat, and monitor residents with wounds, pressure injuries, skin conditions, and other treatment needs. Develop, implement, and update individualized wound care treatment plans. Perform routine dressing changes and advanced wound care treatments according to physician orders and facility protocols. Conduct regular skin assessments and identify residents at risk for pressure injuries. Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, therapists, dietitians, and other healthcare professionals to optimize resident outcomes. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record. Educate residents, families, and staff on wound prevention, treatment, and skin integrity. Ensure compliance with infection control standards, state and federal regulations, and facility policies. Monitor treatment supplies and assist with inventory management. Participate in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives related to wound care. Qualifications Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California. Previous experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, long-term care, or wound care preferred. Wound Care Certification (WCC, WOCN, or equivalent) is preferred but not required. Strong assessment, critical thinking, and clinical decision-making skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with an interdisciplinary team. Compassionate, organized, and resident-focused approach to care.
