This is a great opportunity for a nurse to work in relaxed outpatient setting while maintaining their nursing skills and to be involved in a very unique high-end Medical spa practice. We offer a clean, comfortable and relaxed environment and utilize only the latest in cutting-edge IV therapies. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Candidate must be skilled in finding veins and establishing IV line in comfortable manner.
  • Answers questions and provides information to clients on drip ingredients, dosage, benefits/effectiveness, possible side effects if any, pertinent interaction and other information relating to the services.
  • Appropriate preparations and labels containers.
  • Able to follow GFE (General Faith Estimate) procedures and guidelines.
  • Establishes and maintains records and enters prescription data accurately.
  • Assist the clinic team in providing personalized customer care.
  • Assist in maintaining inventory and storage of the IV area, including, but not limited to: labels, medications, vitamins, vials, supplies etc.
  • Cleans and helps maintain equipment and work areas according to SOPs
  • Follow established SOPs, assist with formulation development of new SOPs and data entry, and competence in mathematical calculations
  • Effectively communicates with prescribers and other health care professionals, conveying appropriate information to designated staff for proper dose of IV vitamins and IM quick shots
  • Attends professional meetings and interacts professionally with clients, staff and external associates as needed.
  • Oversees SOP implementation, training verification, and formulation of medications, CQI, quality of ingredients, staffing requirements, client specific needs, and any other aspect of work in the IV area.
  • Evaluate, plan, implement and document nursing care of clients.
  • Prepare IV & IM Vitamins for administration with appropriate technique
  • Inserting, monitoring and removing IV-ensuring needles and tubing stay in place during treatment, and procedure is done as easily and comfortably as possible. Oversight the client during the infusion process.
  • Reviewing treatment plans and ensuring the clients are up to date with labs and f/u appointments.
  • Clean and maintain infusion lounge/rooms
  • Works with management team to maintain nursing supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies
  • Keep the clinic in compliance with National Franchise standards before and after each shift
  • Various office and customer services duties to include but not limited to scheduling appointments, verifying the correct forms are filled out and complete, reviewing health history forms, and providing excellent customer service.
  • Triage patient's phone calls as needed and documents relevant information in the client's chart
  • Responsible for overseeing Front Desk Staff and cover tasks, as needed.
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned by management staff.
Qualifications:
  • RN active, unrestricted license in the state of California; graduate of accredited Nursing Program.
  • Current BLS CPR certification from American Heart Association.
  • Minimum of 2 years infusion experience required to perform at least 10 IVs in a day.
  • Previous experience of administrating IV Vitamin Therapy (Preferred)
  • Strong Venous access skills; must be able to access peripheral veins easily without backup.

Physical Requirements:
Frequently required to walk, stand and sit, prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Occasional lifting of equipment and supplies weighting up to 50 pounds and carrying objects of varying weights.
  • Ability to commit to at least 1-2 days of coverage per week, with alternate weekend availability.
