Registered Nurse

SUMMARY OF MAJOR FUNCTIONS

Under general direction, the Registered Nurse (RN) oversees nursing services for residential and outpatient programs. Responsibilities include supervising medical staff, managing the Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) program, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, conducting client assessments, developing policies and procedures, and supporting quality improvement initiatives under the direction of the Medical Director.

DUTIES:

Plan, organize, and oversee nursing programs and services Supervise, hire, train, and evaluate medical staff Manage MAT clinic operations and ensure compliance with healthcare standards Conduct client health assessments and provide nursing care and education Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures Collaborate with healthcare teams to support client well-being Maintain accurate records and client confidentiality Provide staff training related to detoxification and medical procedures Remain available for medical consultation and support Perform other related duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

Current California RN license Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred Minimum two years of experience in behavioral health or related field

Knowledge of nursing practices, behavioral health, medications, and emergency procedures Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Ability to supervise staff, implement policies, maintain records, and respond to emergencies Ability to work independently while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality

PRE-EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS

DOJ/FBI fingerprint clearance Negative TB test and drug screening Valid California driver's license and insurable driving record

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, lift up to 25 pounds, use office equipment, and communicate effectively in a professional healthcare environment.

Pay:

$45.00 per hour
