Job Description

This is a Casual Status also known as Per Diem position as a RN in the PreOp-PACU department in our brand new tower at La Jolla Memorial hospital. It has a varied 12 hour shift with the start time between 0830-1100. There is not call or weekend shifts, however it is available if you are seeking additional shifts. The training schedule is flexible and based on experience. The minimum availability is 4 shifts per month. Why join Scripps Health? Responsibilities include:
Provide direct patient care within the scope of his/her practice. Patient care includes assessment, planning and implementing a plan of care and evaluating patients' progress towards expected outcomes. The RN takes primary responsibility for the patients' care as delivered by the Care Team under his/her supervision. Works collaboratively with other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care
