Category Nursing - RN-Operating Room Job Type Contract Immediate opportunities are available for skilled Registered Nurses experienced in the Operating Room, seeking a dynamic contract assignment. This role is ideal for clinicians with a background in orthopedic, trauma, and robotic surgical cases who can deliver exceptional patient care in a fast-paced perioperative environment.

Schedule Options:

3x12 hour shifts, fixed: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday (6:45 AM - 7:15 PM) Sunday, Monday, Tuesday (6:45 AM - 7:15 PM) Call rotation required (weekdays, weekends, nights, and holidays)

Qualifications:

Active, unrestricted California RN license Current BLS and ACLS certifications NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room RN experience, including recent Level I or II trauma exposure Must have demonstrated competence with orthopedic, trauma, and robotic surgeries At least 1 year of travel nursing experience Skills checklist completed at the time of application

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures in the OR Collaborate closely with surgical teams, anesthesia providers, and support staff Ensure safe patient transitions and continuity of care in line with best practice standards Adhere to infection control protocols and all hospital policies Participate in required call coverage, promptly responding to emergent situations
