Job Description

Shift:
Both Day and Night Shifts available
RESPONSIBILITIES
Job duties will include but are not limited to: Supervise direct patient care performed by CNAs. Administering prescribed medications. Assist in assessing patients' needs. Responsible for accurate documentation in the residents' electronic medical record. Performs direct patient care. Complies with local and federal guidelines for the administration of all medications and maintenance of medical records. Ensures compliance with HIPPA and other applicable laws and regulations regarding patient privacy and the maintenance of medical records. Produces quality work/assignments in a thorough, timely and accurate manner. Maintains appropriate personal attendance, accountability and work productivity standards. Understands and applies job knowledge to effectively complete all required job responsibilities. Proactively maintains the skills required to perform job duties. Complies with local and federal guidelines for the administration of all medications and maintenance of medical records. Ensures compliance with HIPPA and other applicable laws and regulations regarding patient privacy and the maintenance of medical records. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
The following education or combination of education and experience are required for the position: Must be currently licensed in the State of California. Must be CPR certified. Must be able to read and communicate effectively in English. Completes annual education requirements. Maintain regulatory requirements. Exhibits genuine interest in and appreciation of adults in later years of life. Must demonstrate a maturity level that enables him/her to perform the job in a professional and organized manner.
