1 Description American Traveler is hiring a PACU RN for an evening shift position requiring a CA RN license and Epic EMR experience. Details Surgical Recovery/PACU unit within an acute care hospital setting Evening shift schedule, 4x10s, 7:00 AM-5:30 PM Requires Epic EMR experience Requirements Active CA RN license required BLS certification required ACLS certification required at time of hire with demonstrated dysrhythmia competency during orientation PALS certification required within 1 year of hire IV Sedation competency required within 6 months of hire Minimum 2 years of experience in specialty required, with recent experience within the last 3 months BSN preferred Acute care facility experience preferred No prior adverse action or hit on license allowed Additional Information Provide direct nursing care to surgical recovery patients across the lifespan, including neonatal, infant, child, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care Incorporate patient teaching and discharge planning into care plans Delegate aspects of care to nursing staff based on competency and scope of practice Position is represented by the California Nurses Association (CNA) Accepts local candidates at the same rate as travel candidates Candidates with more than 5 days of requested RTO will not be considered Travelers may only be submitted to one hospital within the health system at a time
