As a Registered Nurse, the incumbent is bound by the California Nursing Practice Act and all associated BRN regulations governing licensure and nursing education. The Simulation Nurse Educator Specialist functions as the program's lead for simulation-based pedagogy, serving as both an operational leader and facilitator across all levels of the pre-licensure curriculum. This role functions in collaboration with the Course Managers & Clinical Programs Specialist. The incumbent provides support in assuring standards are maintained during high-fidelity simulation, task-trainer scenarios, standardized patient experiences, and skills laboratory instruction, ensuring that every simulated clinical experience is grounded in current evidence, aligned with national simulation standards, and purposefully designed to develop students' professional role identity. Assigned Experience and Qualifications Education:
Master's degree in nursing or related field required. Doctoral preparation in Nursing or related field preferred.
Experience:
