One California Job Summary and Responsibilities As a Registered Nurse (RN) on our Float/Flex Team, you will be a pivotal healthcare professional, delivering compassionate, high-quality care that truly impacts our patients' well-being and recovery while presenting a positive attitude and being reliable, Every day, you will leverage your expertise to provide individualized, comprehensive care, making critical assessments, performing skilled procedures, and meticulously implementing patient care plans. Provides direct patient care, evaluates outcomes, consults with other practitioners as required and adjusts nursing care processes as indicated to ensure optimal patient care. Monitors medical condition of patients and reports changes to appropriate personnel. Reports abnormal diagnostic data to physician/shift coordinator/supervisor as appropriate. Demonstrates ability to perform technical nursing procedures/skills of patient care competently, seeking assistance when appropriate. Implements patient histories, assesses patients' conditions, and develops individualized care plans for assigned patients. Documents on care plans as patient care evolves, including resolution of problems. Assesses patient educational needs and barriers to learning.
