Registered Nurse (RN) | Up to $50/hr | Newark, CA Full-Time | Monday-Friday School Schedule | One-on-One Ventilator Support Case Looking for an RN role with steady weekday hours and a break from nights, weekends, and hospital shifts? This school-based nursing opportunity in Newark, CA, offers a consistent Monday-Friday schedule supporting a student with ventilator needs during the school day. This position is a strong fit for nurses with experience in critical care, emergency medicine, respiratory care, pediatric home health, or other settings involving ventilator support and medically complex patients. You'll provide one-on-one care while helping a student safely participate in the school environment. Why You Should Apply Up to $50/hr paid weekly Monday-Friday school schedule No nights, weekends, or major holidays One-on-one student assignment Consistent, long-term assignment potential Medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and more available starting the first of the month following 30 days of full-time employment What You'll Do Provide one-on-one nursing support for a student requiring ventilator care during the school day Monitor respiratory status and respond to routine and urgent medical needs Administer medications and follow individualized healthcare plans Support daily treatments, assessments, and health monitoring Maintain accurate documentation and communicate with school staff, families, and healthcare providers Help ensure the student can safely participate in the school environment What You'll Bring Active California RN license Current BLS certification Experience caring for ventilator-dependent patients strongly preferred Critical care, emergency department, respiratory care, pediatric home health, or medically complex patient experience preferred Strong assessment and clinical decision-making skills Ability to work independently while collaborating with school staff and families If you're looking for a stable RN opportunity that allows you to use your clinical skills in a more predictable setting, apply today.
