Full Job Description Hours :

Per Diem. Evening shifts, 3:30 pm to Midnight and overnight shifts (Midnight to 8:00 am)

• weekdays and/or weekends.

Pay Rate :

$38.46 to $38.85 per hour plus $3.00 per hour differential for overnight or weekend shifts

Licensure :

Current California LVN or LPT license required and must be kept current and in good standing during employment

Certification :

BLS certification required and must be kept current throughout employment As a Nurse

• LVN or LPT , you will be part of a team that assesses clients mental and physical health and develops treatment plans.

Consult with psychiatrist and other health professionals as well as manage medications. Coordinate care with outside providers to assist in a long-term plan for obtaining medications and maintain care in the community for both mental and physical health. Safely store and handle medications and ensure the proper documentation is completed. Provide medication support services, which ensure optimal outcomes for your clients. Additional Qualifications and Skills Previous experience working with a mental health population, especially with individuals with severe and persistent mental illness and co-occurring disorders is strongly preferred Ability to physically and mentally assist in emergency situations is required Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment is essential This program is housed in a two-story building that does not have an elevator. Ability to navigate stairs is required. Proficient computer skills, including MS Office Ability to pass criminal/background clearance Bring your nursing skills and dedication to helping others to make a difference in the lives of the people we serve! Casa Pacifica is a transitional residential program that assists people with chronic mental illness and dual diagnosis to move towards recovery and independent living. It is a Full-Service Partnership and offers clients mental health services including psychiatric care, assistance with medication management, individual and group therapy, vocational assistance, case management, and peer support. The residential component of the program is 6 to 9 months long and graduates can participate in an alumni program that will assist in their transition to a more independent lifestyle.
