Schedule:
Travel assignment; must be able to take call
Essential Qualifications:
Active, unrestricted RN license in California Current BLS (AHA) certification at hire; maintain throughout assignment Current ACLS and PALS (AHA) within 30 days of hire, and ongoing Minimum 1 year of recent perioperative nursing experience or completed on-the-job training
EPIC EMR
proficiency Pre/Post Op expertise CNOR certification and BSN strongly preferred
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct and indirect perioperative nursing care for patients of all ages Collaborate with the surgical and anesthesia teams to coordinate comprehensive care Guide and delegate responsibilities to OR Technicians and support staff Ensure adherence to hospital standards, policies, and excellence in patient care Engage in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing professional education Provide reliable on-call coverage as required
