Key Qualifications:
Active RN license Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred Confident managing seizures and creating care plans Able to provide 1:1 support for elementary-aged children Comfortable accompanying students on bus rides and responding to health emergencies en route Strong communication skills with students, staff, and families Ability to document care accurately and maintain confidentialityWhat You'll Do:
Deliver direct, individualized nursing care to an elementary student Monitor and respond to seizure activity promptly and appropriately Administer medications and treatments as needed Ride the school bus with the student to and from school, ensuring safety and medical readiness Collaborate with teachers, aides, and parents to provide holistic support Educate and empower staff regarding emergency health protocols related to the student's needs Keep thorough, up-to-date records of all care provided Here, you'll make a true impact by giving a student the confidence and security they need to succeed each day, both in the classroom and on their daily commute.
