The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in various settings, including emergency rooms and critical care units. This role requires strong clinical skills, the ability to work effectively under pressure, and a commitment to patient advocacy. The Registered Nurse will collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support for patients and their families.

Duties Assess and monitor patient health status, including vital signs and symptoms. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans. Provide education and support to patients and families regarding health conditions, treatment options, and discharge planning. Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with ICD-9 coding standards. Participate in critical care procedures as needed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Provide hospice palliative medicine services, focusing on pain management and comfort for patients with terminal illnesses. Engage in family planning discussions when appropriate, offering resources and support. Experience Candidates should have a valid nursing license and relevant experience in a healthcare setting. Experience in emergency room environments or Level I Trauma Centers is highly desirable. Familiarity with travel nursing assignments is a plus. Strong skills in discharge planning, medical records management, critical care nursing, hospice palliative medicine, pain management, and effective communication are essential for success in this role.
