MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Licenses and Certifications:
Active California Nurse Practitioner Current DEA Registration (Required) DOT Medical Examiner Certification (Preferred)
Current BLS Certification Bilingual English/Spanish Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of Nurse Practitioner experience Family Practice, Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Pediatric experience Ability to work independently in an outpatient clinic setting
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive health assessments and physical examinations Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with scope of practice Provide care to pediatric and family practice patient populations Order and interpret diagnostic testing Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, preventive care, and wellness Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure quality patient care Perform occupational health evaluations and DOT physicals when applicable Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while maintaining clinical excellence
