In this vital role, Your expertise will ensure patients receive personalized treatment, education, and support to promote healing and well-being. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of Physically and Mentally Disabled people in Adult Residential Facilities. Currently we have 3 people who we need consultation hours . Our regs require at least 2 hours per month per individual. Our schedule is flexible . We do not have any individuals who require invasive treatments . Mainly just observation, checking skin breakdown and over all wellness . Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history reviews to inform diagnosis and treatment plans. Administer medications and injections accurately, including IV infusions, immunizations, and other prescribed therapies following aseptic techniques. Perform specialized procedures such as suturing, catheterization, and wound care . document patient information meticulously and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations. Manage acute pain through appropriate interventions while providing education on medication administration and pain management strategies. Assist in diagnostic evaluations such as laboratory specimen collection/processing, sonography, or basic medical imaging procedures when required. Requirements Valid RN license in good standing with relevant state licensing authorities. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and diagnostic evaluation techniques. Ability to perform complex procedures including IV insertion, phlebotomy, sterile processing techniques, ventilator management, and infection control practices. Excellent patient assessment skills with a focus on safety and quality care delivery across pediatric to geriatric populations.
