40 Biweekly Bilingual Incentive! Bilingual Incentive Pay is +7.5% above the RN I or RN II base salary.

Position Description:

Under general supervision, the Registered Nurse I/II performs a variety of professional nursing and client care services to support the functions and operations of the Health Services Agency. Practice settings include primary care clinic, public health, mental health, and correctional facilities. Principles and procedures involved with family planning, sexually transmitted disease control, maternal and child health, and child growth and development; Maintaining significant flexibility in daily operations and decision-making; Laws, rules and regulations applicable to nursing practice; Community aspects of nursing programs.

Registered Nurse II Minimum Qualifications:

RN I

• Graduation from an accredited college with an Associate's degree in Nursing. RN II
• Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a Bachelor's degree in Nursing or graduation from an accredited college with an Associate's degree in Nursing and a Bachelor's degree in a health related field.

Two (2) years of registered nursing experience must accompany a Bachelor's degree in a health related field, other than nursing.

License & Special Requirements:

Possession of, or ability to obtain and maintain, a valid California Class C Driver License and a satisfactory driving record is required. Individuals who do not meet this requirement due to a disability will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Requires valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse issued by the State of California. Requires CPR certification. Must complete periodic continuing education coursework as required to maintain active licensure. Must possess, or be willing to obtain, national provider identifier (NPI).

Bilingual Candidates :

Must pass a written and/or oral bilingual proficiency test (or other appropriate test selected by the County) to qualify. The department is currently recruiting for multiple vacancies . In addition, Tehama County is establishing an eligibility list to fill future vacancies for a Registered Nurse I/II or Registered Nurse I/II

• Bilingual, as well as subsequent vacancies which occur during the life of the eligibility list.

Testing Dates:

September 23-25, 2026. Testing will be provided via email ( excludes bilingual exam ).

Tentative Interview Dates:

1st

• Thursday, October 1, 2026 from 8:30am to 10:30am. 2nd
• Thursday, October 8, 2026 from 8:30am to 9:30am.
• Only the most qualified candidates will be invited to interview.
