Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license Certification as a School Nurse (CSN) Current CPR certification Prior experience in a school or pediatric nursing setting preferred Strong communication, assessment, and organizational skills Ability to develop care plans and respond effectively to health emergencies Comfortable working with diverse populations and needs

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct health screenings and maintain student health records Administer first aid, medications, and perform health assessments as needed Develop and implement individualized healthcare plans for students with chronic illnesses or special needs Serve as a liaison between healthcare providers, families, and school staff Educate students, families, and school personnel on health topics, wellness, and disease prevention Ensure compliance with state and federal health regulations Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings as required
