Job Description

APS Health & Infusion Nursing Services is hiring experienced IV/Infusion RNs who want flexibility, autonomy, and meaningful one‑on‑one patient care. What You'll Do Provide IV therapy, biologics, and specialty infusions in the home Follow a personalized Plan of Care and complete clear, timely documentation Educate and support patients and families Use your IV skills confidently — independent PIV starts required Communicate with providers, pharmacies, and APS clinical leadership Deliver safe, professional, compassionate care — one patient at a time For pediatric cases: provide age‑appropriate communication, ensure caregiver presence, and follow pediatric competency standards Required IV Skills Must be able to independently start and maintain peripheral IVs (PIVs) Port/PICC experience preferred but not required Pediatric Competency (If Assigned Pediatric Patients) APS may receive pediatric referrals. Nurses who accept pediatric cases must: Have verified pediatric competency Be comfortable performing pediatric PIV starts Understand pediatric vital sign norms Communicate effectively with children and caregivers Ensure caregiver presence and a safe home environment Document pediatric‑specific assessments and tolerance Pediatric cases are optional — nurses may decline if not comfortable.
What We Offer Pay:
$45.00-$55.00 per hour. The starting rate within this range will be based on relevant infusion experience and other job-related qualifications. Mileage reimbursement at federal rate Flexible PRN scheduling — you choose your availability 24/7 clinical support from experienced infusion nurse managers Thorough orientation with 1:1 orders review Supportive leadership that values communication, professionalism, and nurse autonomy Requirements Active, unrestricted RN license IV/Infusion experience required Tech‑savvy (must have laptop/iPad capable of PDF conversion) Reliable transportation + auto insurance Drug screen + background check Understanding of HIPAA and regulatory compliance Some client contracts require no prior disciplinary actions on RN licenses Who We Are APS Health & Infusion Nursing Services is a national home‑infusion staffing agency. $49.00 - $55.00 per hour
