Category Nursing - RN - CVOR Job Type Contract An opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) nursing. Schedule:

40 hours per week Four 10-hour shifts Day shift with varied hours Participation in weekday, weekend, and holiday call rotations

Qualifications:

Current California RN license Valid BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (Annual renewal required) At least 2 years of recent experience as a CVOR RN Minimum of 1 year of prior travel RN experience

Key Responsibilities:

Direct nursing care in the CVOR, adhering to evidence-based protocols Assess, plan, and evaluate patient care before, during, and after cardiovascular surgical procedures Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to maintain a safe and sterile environment Prepare operating rooms, supplies, and equipment specific to CVOR procedures Monitor patient status throughout surgery, responding to emergencies and rapidly changing situations Document all aspects of patient care according to regulatory and hospital standards Participate in call rotation as scheduled, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays Grow your skill set in a challenging and rewarding setting.
