As a registered nurse in the operating room, you'll expand your expertise working alongside skilled surgical teams. Qualifications & Experience Sought:
Valid RN license in the state (required) Current BLS certification (AHA) upon hire and maintained ACLS and PALS certification (AHA) within 30 days of hire and maintained At least one year of perioperative experience, or completion of on-the-job training Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) certification preferred Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred Familiarity with EPIC EMR and pre/post-op care Ability and willingness to take call as neededSchedule/Hours:
Travel contract with varied operating room shifts Participation in call rotation requiredRole Responsibilities:
Deliver direct and indirect patient care utilizing the nursing process in perioperative settings for neonates through older adults Coordinate care among surgical team members, including surgeons and anesthesiologists Support and direct OR technicians and ancillary staff Promote efficient patient flow, adherence to safety protocols, and rigorous documentation Participate in unit meetings, in-services, and performance improvement activities Act as a resource for colleagues, ensuring high standards of safety and patient careBenefits & Travel Perks:
