Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Active RN license in California Experience in a school setting or working with pediatric populations preferred Current CPR certification Ability to assess, triage, and respond to medical needs efficiently Strong organizational and record-keeping skills Compassionate communicator with students, staff, and families

Essential Responsibilities:

Provide direct nursing care, including medication administration and managing chronic illnesses (such as diabetes or asthma) Respond to acute medical situations and emergencies on campus Maintain accurate health records in compliance with school and state regulations Implement individualized healthcare plans (IHPs) for students with special medical needs Educate students and staff on health topics including hygiene, mental wellness, and infection prevention Collaborate with school counselors, psychologists, and outside providers as needed Serve as a health resource, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all students
