Where You'll Work Founded in 1940, Dignity Health - Marian Regional Medical Center is a 191-bed, acute care, nonprofit hospital located in Santa Maria, California. Serving over 250,000 patients annually, the hospital offers a full complement of services including Level II Trauma Center, Level III NICU, cancer care, orthopedics, and stroke care. One California Job Summary and Responsibilities As our Licensed Psych Tech, you will be a cornerstone of compassionate care, delivering specialized technical nursing to empower our patients on their journey toward mental wellness.

Every day you will meticulously execute a finely tuned plan of care, collaboratively designed by our Registered Nurses, ensuring every patient receives the precise, high-quality support they need. You'll bring your expert skills and empathetic approach to every interaction, directly contributing to a stable and therapeutic environment.

To be successful in this role, you will consistently demonstrate unwavering dedication to patient well-being, exceptional technical proficiency, and a collaborative spirit. You'll be a vital and trusted member of our care team, transforming lives through your commitment to impactful psychiatric nursing. Job Specific Duties Observes patients' physical, psychosocial, and cultural needs considering diagnosis, age, care selling, desire for care, and response to care plan. Assists RN with planning, collaborating with other members of the healthcare team. Delivers competent care as required by patient, plan of care, and care setting, collaborating with other members of the healthcare team. Observes patient's responses to care.
