$115,000-$135,000 DOE Stanford Court, a Generations Healthcare facility is in search of a RN MDS Coordinator to join our team.
Job Summary:
Under close supervision and within established systems, schedules, and protocols receives and inputs information from the Minimum Data Set (MDS). Essential Duties (include but are not limited to): Collects MDS documents within mandated, established and expected time frames. Enters information from the MDS document into the MDI system by mandated, established, and expected deadlines, in correct record format, and with a high degree of accuracy. Compares data entered against the original MDS document; makes corrections as needed. Retrieves and prints initial feedback reports and final validation reports; locks MDS after final validation is received. Files the MDS documents in residents' charts. Notifies appropriate coworkers of any questions related to the MDS data, delays in data entry, system problems, or other obstacles that may arise in the course of work. Maintains confidentiality of all patient care information.
Requirements:
Current and unencumbered CA Nursing license required 2 year as MDS Coordinator in LTC setting MDS Certified preferred Knowledge of PDPM Proficient in MDS 3.0 reimbursements. High School education or GED Must have the ability to type a minimum of 50 words per minute
