Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled person with a foundational clinical license (EMT, RCP, RN, LVN) who is willing to train to become a Hyperbaric Technician / Certified Hyperbaric Technologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will operate hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) chambers, ensuring safe and effective treatment for patients with various medical conditions. Your expertise in hospital medicine, emergency medicine, and critical care will be essential to providing top-tier patient care in a fast-paced environment. You will collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver precise treatments while maintaining strict safety protocols. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative therapies within a state-of-the-art facility dedicated to improving patient outcomes. Duties Prepare and operate hyperbaric chambers, ensuring all safety standards and protocols are meticulously followed during patient treatments Monitor patients continuously throughout therapy sessions, assessing vital signs, oxygen levels, and overall physiological responses Assist with patient positioning, airway management, and comfort measures to optimize treatment efficacy Conduct pre-treatment assessments including reviewing medical histories, verifying contraindications, and explaining procedures to patients Maintain detailed documentation of each session, including treatment parameters, patient responses, and any adverse events Collaborate with clinic staff across departments Ensure all equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and ready for use; troubleshoot technical issues promptly Educate patients and their families about hyperbaric oxygen therapy benefits, safety precautions, and post-treatment care Additional compensated hours may be available through patient outreach, marketing, community engagement, and business development projects.
Qualifications Preferred:
Certification as a Hyperbaric Technologist or equivalent credential from a recognized professional organization
Acceptable:
EMT, CRP/RT, RN, LVN, or CMA willing to train to become a Certified Hyperbaric Technologist Experience working in hospital environments such as ICU, emergency departments, or trauma centers—preferably Level I or Level II trauma centers is helpful Background in hospital medicine, critical care, respiratory therapy, and acute care settings is helpful Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, vital signs monitoring, ventilator management, airway management techniques and medical terminology Hands-on experience with ventilators and respiratory equipment; familiarity with oxygen delivery systems Prior clinic or outpatient experience involving hyperbaric or specialized medical treatments is highly desirable Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure situations while maintaining attention to detail and patient safety standards Join us in delivering life-changing therapies!
