9659074-94087 Job Description Step into a rewarding contract opportunity working closely with students in an educational setting near Sunnyvale, CA. This role offers an engaging environment where you will provide vital 1:1 nursing care and support for a student during their assessment period. With approximately 35 hours per week, youll play an essential part in promoting the students health, safety, and academic participation.

Key Qualifications:

Active and unrestricted RN license in California Experience with school-based nursing or pediatric care preferred Strong assessment, documentation, and clinical decision-making skills Ability to work independently while following guidance from school staff and healthcare professionals Excellent communication abilities to interact compassionately with students, families, and educational personnel Commitment to confidentiality and maintaining professional boundaries

Responsibilities:

Provide dedicated one-on-one nursing care for a student during their assessment period Monitor and document the students health status throughout the school day Administer medication and perform necessary medical procedures as prescribed Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to implement individualized care plans Respond promptly to medical emergencies, following all established protocols Support the educational team by advocating for the students health needs in the classroom setting Promote a safe and inclusive environment for the student and classmates Enjoy a unique opportunity to make a direct and meaningful impact within a supportive school community.
