1 Description American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Medical ICU position requiring a CA RN license and at least three years of ICU experience. Details Work in the Medical ICU 1 unit of an acute care hospital Day shift schedule, 07:00 AM-07:30 PM Requirements Active CA RN license required BLS certification required ACLS (AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS) certification required Minimum of three years of recent ICU experience required BSN preferred Acute care facility experience preferred Additional Information Deliver coordinated nursing care for assigned patients following established standards and the nursing process Supervise and direct nursing staff while coordinating care with other disciplines Collect and analyze patient data to determine diagnoses and care priorities Develop and implement care plans, coordinating care delivery to achieve desired outcomes Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure safe, humane, and caring treatment Provide patient and family education and participate in discharge planning Appropriately delegate and coordinate duties among healthcare team members Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate as travelers Candidates with more than 5 days of requested RTO will not be considered Candidates with a prior adverse licensure action will not be considered
