A Registered Nurse provides medical care and treatment, educates patients about their conditions, and provides emotional support to patients and families. Works in hospitals, schools, clinics or community health centers. Works under the supervision of a physician or other specialist, and serves as the primary point of care for patients in a hospital setting. May specialize in emergency room work, or treatment for a particular condition, or specialize in working with infants, the elderly or other patient groups. May work as an advanced practice specialists and prescribe medications in addition to offering specialty care.

Compensation Salary Range:
$50.75- $78.
Responsibilities Position Overview:
Provides specialized nursing care to obstetrical patients before, during, and after labor and delivery.Qualifications Required:
Current CA Registered Nurse License Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification within 6 months of hire Evidence of Intermediate or Advanced Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) class taken within the last 2 years or to be taken within 6 months hire Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification within 3 months of hire Minimum 2 years of recent Labor and Delivery experiencePreferred:
Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) Acute hospital experience Bilingual in Spanish RNC-OB- Registered Nurse, Certified in Inpatient Obstetrics Overview Nationally Recognized.
