An Endoscopy Registered Nurse cares for patients undergoing endoscopy procedures, in which miniature cameras are used to view patients' internal systems, primarily digestive systems, and assess problems. Prepares patients for endoscopy procedures, and monitors patients during and after procedures. Works with anesthesia specialists and physicians as part of a clinical team. Works in clinical settings, primarily specialized endoscopy clinics.

Job Summary:
The RN Endoscopy is a Registered Nurse that provides quality patient care using the nursing process, the medical plan of care, and organizational policies. The RN Endoscopy provides safe, effective, and quality patient-family centered care in the perioperative services for all patient populations. The RN Endoscopy supports the mission, vision, and values of the organization. The RN Endoscopy reports to the Manager of Peri-Operative Services.
Hourly Range:
$46.23 - $57.79/hour Wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual's qualifications and experience. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing Current CA Nursing License Current
BLS, ACLS
Minimum of 2 years' experience in Pre-Op/PACU. Previous experience working in an ambulatory surgical setting preferred. Understand principles of aseptic technique and their implementation Ability to care for adult patients Knowledge base to recognize, evaluate, solve problems and correct errors Ability to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient when needed Excellent communication and organizational skills Demonstrate strong professional and ethical behavior Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, physicians and fellow employees.
