This is a full-time position supporting a local K-12 district with private duty/1:1 nursing services. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Active RN license valid in California Graduate of an accredited ADN or BSN program Current

BLS CPR/AED

certification Demonstrated competency in the specific skills required for the assigned student including: Standby for Safety (SFS) Positioning and Turning (PT) Mobility Assistance (MA) Transferring / Ambulation (TRA) Mobility Assistance (MA) Ileostomy Care (ILC) Medication & administration via GT Medication Oral (MO) Monitor Fluid Intake (MFI) Bowel Bladder Care (BBC) Feeding (F) Oxygen Administration (OA) Range of Motion (RGM) Suctioning (SU) Tracheotomy Care (TC) Tube Feeding (TF) Stoma Care (SC) Seizure observation/reporting (S2) Self-Injuries Behavior Monitoring (SIB) Nebulizer Treatment Observation Physical Status (OPS) Vital Signs (VS) Strong assessment and critical thinking skills Ability to work independently in a non-clinical environment Experience working with Pediatric population

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to respond effectively in emergency situations Ability to work collaboratively with school staff, families, therapists, and healthcare providers Ability to maintain accurate and timely documentation Prior school-based experience highly preferred

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Maintain continuous observation of assigned student throughout the school day Implement and monitor student health plans Accompany student during transportation and community-based activities when assigned Communicate significant status changes to family, school staff, and clinical leadership Provide first aid, daily medical care, and emergency support Maintain student confidentiality in accordance with FERPA and HIPAA requirements
