Job Requirements Minimum Education Requirement :
Bachelors of Science in Nursing required within 1 year of hire/transfer.Minimum Experience Requirement :
3 years nursing experience in an oncology setting, including medical or surgical oncology practice, infusion center, radiation oncology, or inpatient oncology unit. Previous experience in oncology nurse navigation preferred. Proven working relationship with physicians. Patient education experience. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent customer service. Excellent organizational skills, able to manage a full suite of tasks and manage across numerous priorities and to service line to meet established deadlines. Employs empathy, patience, understanding, courtesy and kindness to all patients, their families, physicians and other hospital staff. Able to focus on long-term goals while managing day-to-day operations. Exercises initiative, creativity and courage to act in the best interest of the patient. Confidence to interact with stakeholders at all levels, including patients/ family, co-workers, providers, physicians and administration. Spanish speaking a plus.License Requirement:
California RN License. BLS required. ACLS within 90 days of hire. California. ONS certification preferred. Ongoing education of 12 cancer related continuing nursing education hours annually. Delivering world-class health care one patient at a time.Pay Range:
$57.36- $88.
